The Hispanic Society, 1908
His best known and most lasting
contribution is The Hispanic Society
of America, the "Spanish Museum"
which he founded in 1904.
Over the course of fifty years, Archer
Huntington filled the museum with his
collections of Hispanic paintings,
maps, prints, and photographs.
