Las hijas de Felipe at the Hispanic Society

Please note this program will take place in SpanishΒ

Join us for a live-audience podcast recording by Las hijas de Felipe at the Hispanic Society Museum & Library

Las hijas de Felipe is the acoustic shelter of deliberate ahistoricismβ€”a space where the most remote corners of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries and the most impenetrable crevices of the present overlap in a strategic anachronism meant, hopefully, to spark unsuspected reflections and connections. A podcast by Carmen Urbita and Ana Garriga, researchers in early modern Hispanic literary studies. In this live episode from the Hispanic Society, Las hijas de Felipe will engage in conversation with the exhibition β€œSpanish Style: Fashion Illuminated, 1550–1700”, curated by Amanda Wunder.
