Internships at the Hispanic Society
The Hispanic Society Museum & Library offers full- and part-time internships to undergraduate and graduate students; recent graduates; and emerging professionals pursuing a career in museums, libraries, public history/humanities, cultural development, or non-profit management. We strongly encourage individuals whose identities are historically underrepresented in these fields to submit an application.
The Hispanic Society Museum & Library offers interns the opportunity to explore a variety of areas of interest, including education, public programs, curatorial support, exhibitions, conservation, collections management, marketing, and development. The preferred candidate will have a strong interest in museum or library work related to Hispanic arts, literatures, histories, and cultures. Within the context of the Hispanic Society, the term “Hispanic” refers to the countries wherein Spanish and/or Portuguese are or have been spoken languages, i.e. Spain, Portugal, Latin America, the Southwest United States, the Philippines, Portuguese India, etc.
