Join us for an outdoor screening of Sangre y Arena (USA, 1941). Rita Hayworth stars in this 1941 adaptation of Vicente Blasco Ibáñez’ 1908 novel about the rise and fall of a bullfighter.

The program begins at 6pm with a special pre-show live performance of Dominican music with Victoria Guzmán, Anna Tonna, and Pablo Zinger, followed by the film at 7pm.

Presented in collaboration with Inwood Art Works, Cine al Fresco is the Hispanic Society’s annual free outdoor film series dedicated to Spanish and Latin American cinema.
