Accommodation Recommendations:
In Santiago de Compostela, we will be meeting up daily near the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. Half of the group will reside in the Hotel Monumento San Francisco, which has since run out of available rooms. We also recommend Hotel Palacio del Carmen, Autograph Collection which is equally close to the cathedral. You can make a booking at Hotel Palacio del carmen in our room block via this link. Please book accommodations around this area from Saturday May 3rd to Monday May 5th.
For our time in Oviedo, please email Francisco at recepcion@eurostarshoteldelareconquista.com to book a room in our block at the Eurostars Hotel de la Reconquista from May 5th to May 8th.
if you plan to stay an extra night in Madrid on the 8th, we recommend the Santo Mauro Hotel.
Travel Recommendations:
Please plan to arrive in Santiago de Compostela by midday on Saturday, May 3rd. There are flights and trains from Madrid to Santiago. For flights to Santiago from Madrid, we recommend the Iberia flight IB 1135 departing at 11:50am.
We will be traveling as a group until the final official day of the trip, Wednesday May 7th, terminating in Oviedo.
On Thursday May 8th, you can either depart to your next destination or fly from Oviedo to Madrid where we will reconvene that evening for the extra activities. We suggest the Iberia flight IB 478 departing at 9:25am.
